Which is the best programming language?

Hello everybody,

I'm asking this because I would like to know why there's a bunch of programming languages, why with the time all this programming languages came up and didn't stop with the first one? Maybe it was not just a thing that was the answer for a problem in the past, maybe this way to solve problems has been the best solution provided it by a great brain, I think that the person that had the idea was not really conscious that was providing one important and big solution to a way big problem, use the computer as far as it can be.
